Esprit de Pomme
A Calvados style Apple Brandy.
We have experimented with making apple brandy for some time, bottling a number of different batches throughout the years. Finally, our Esprit de Pomme is an apple brandy that we are ready to hang our hat on. A brandy that represents the state of Vermont through great apple flavor. Esprit de Pomme is a delicate blend of 2 year aged brandy and eau de vie, with just a touch of boiled cider. The apple flavor is prominent but not overpowering. Enjoy this spirit neat, with a single cube, or mixed in one of our signature craft cocktails.
Creme de Cassis de Vermont
Made from New England blackcurrants, Créme de Cassis de Vermont is bursting with rich and bold flavors from the local land. This liqueur mixes wonderfully with our No 14 Bourbon in cocktails like the Bourbon Renewal, or with our Vermont Gold Vodka to make a Quechee-tini.
15 Hands Bourbon
The Morgan was the most versatile horse in U.S. history, first gaining fame not far from our distillery over 200 years ago. 15 Hands is big for a Morgan and our 15 Hands Bourbon pays tribute to this beloved breed accordingly. Our high barley bourbon is double barreled and finished in our own XO brandy barrels to create a big, distinctive and loveable companion for any occasion.
1791 Oak Barrel Cocktail
The Oak Barrel Cocktail celebrates Vermont statehood in 1791, becoming the first new state to be added to the original 13 colonies, and ending the Vermont Republic era. The 1791 is our New England expression of the classic Boulevardier
Cocktail. We start with plump cranberries from the world-renowned Massachusetts bogs. These delicate berries are barrel rested with charcoal-mellowed American rye whiskey and raw local honey, then finished with a touch of award-winning Orleans Herbal cider from our friends at Eden Ciders.
Drink Concepts
Quechee-Tini ft. Creme de Cassis de Vermont
- 2 oz. Vermont Gold Vodka
- 3/4 oz. Creme de Cassis de Vermont
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
Pour over ice and stir to chill. Strain into a chilled up glass and garnish a lemon twist.
Vermont Sidecar ft. Esprit de Pomme
- 2oz Apple Brandy
- ½ oz Gran Gala
- 1 oz lemonade
- Bit less than ½ oz lemon juice
*Try this with Coppers Barrel Gin!
Sugar rim (if possible)
Combine ingredients over ice, stir, serve up w/ lemon wheel garnish
